SALESPRO SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Mac OS

• A Macintosh or Mac OS computer with at least 8 MB of RAM (16 MB or more recommended)
• A hard disk
• A CD-ROM drive
• System 7.1 or later, or Mac OS 8 or later

Note: For 68000 based Macintoshes FileMaker will run, however, neither the Web Companion nor ODBC import can be used in this configuration.

Windows

• An Intel-compatible 486/33 PC or higher with 8 MB of RAM (16 MB or more recommended)
• A hard disk
• A CD-ROM drive
• Windows 95 or Windows 98, Windows NT 3.51 or later, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, or Windows 3.1

Note 1: For Windows NT 3.51, ODBC Import can not be used.

Note 2: For Windows 3.1 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Web companion cannot be used.

For sharing SalesPro databases over a network

• Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT users are required to use IPX/SPX and TCP/IP networks
• Windows 3.1 users are required to use IPX/SPX-Novell Netware Client software and
• TCP/IP-32 for Windows for Workgroups (Windows 3.11) software
• MacOS users can use TCP/IP, AppleTalk, or IPX/SPX networks

Mac OS/Windows requirements for publishing on the web using the FileMaker Pro web companion

• A host computer is required with access to the Internet or an intranet via TCP/IP
• Access to the Internet requires an Internet Service Provider (ISP). FileMaker Pro does not provide users with an Internet account.
